Panama sole jungle boots with canvas inserts were worn by the
marine characters,
with the exception of Ferro, Spunkmeyer and Gorman who
wore black combat boots.
On receipt of the Hudson costume for this
collection in 1993, the boots were found still to be stuffed with newspaper
dating from 1986!
