Left side view of one of the practical flamethrowers as used
by Frost, Apone, Ripley, Wierzbowski, Drake and Dietrich.
Components used in
its construction include an M16/M203 grenade launcher, The carry handle is an
M16A1 upper receiver and the part immediately above the handgrip is the M16A1
lower receiver. Also featured is a magazine release button from an M16.
This item is not part of the Harry Harris collection.
The Aliens flamethrower was copied in hard rubber
and used in the 1990 Clive Barker film Nightbreed.
The fuel bottle
was removed and extra dressing was added in the form of plates on the bottom of
the prop.
